Overview

Superheroes Club is a sensory-motor play group designed for children in grades 1–2. Sessions are limited to no more than 6 kids supervised by 2 therapists. Participants:

• Develop classroom motor and social skills
• Learn and use sensory strategies for self-regulation and attention through the Alert Program ("How does your engine run?")
• Review and refine proper formation of capital and lowercase letters and numbers, with proper placement and spacing for words and sentences using the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum
