About This Camp

Overview

Ages 16 months – 24 months

Our program provides consistency, stability, and predictability, while enabling new experiences and opportunities for learning.

Your baby is not a baby anymore. After they have reached 16 months, they are in need of a more structured classroom-style daycare atmosphere, which is exactly what we provide in our Toddlers & Twos child care.

Additional Information

Daily Activities and Nutrition

We build warm, welcoming, and supportive classrooms for children of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. Understanding how children grow and change during their first five years can help you give your child a great start.

Our Daily Routine

Morning

  • Arrival & Breakfast

8:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Children play quietly and eat breakfast. As they finish their meal, they can play however they choose at our learning centers until most children have arrived and are finished eating.

  • Morning Meeting

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM

The real start to our day begins when we come together as a group to welcome each other and talk briefly about the day's planned events. We will also do things like read a book out loud or sing a song!

  • Center Activities

10:05 AM - 10:45 AM

Activity centers are an important part of our classrooms and usually involve small-group activities. Your child will do things like play with blocks, experiment with creative arts, engage in dramatic play, read, do age-appropriate math or science activities, or write.

  • Morning Snack

10:45 AM - 11:00 AM

They'll have a healthy snack.

  • Outdoor Play

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

It's time to go outside! Outdoor time can also be part of our daily themed activity.

  • Lunch

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM

Time to wash our hands, help set tables, and get ready to eat lunch!

  • Get Ready for Rest Time

1:00 PM - 1:15 PM

We all help clean up from lunch and get ready to rest.

  • Rest Time

1:15 PM - 2:45 PM

Ssshh … it's quiet time. Many children will nap, but as they wake up (or if they never quite get to sleep), they can select different quiet activities, such as looking at books or drawing.

Afternoon

  • Transition to Afternoon Activities

2:45 PM - 3:00 PM

We all help clean up and get ready for P.M. activities

  • Afternoon Snack

3:00 PM - 3:15 PM

They'll have a healthy snack.

  • Center Activities

3:15 PM - 4:00 PM

Kids come back to activity centers to play and explore on their own and also do a theme-related activity led by a teacher.

  • Outdoor Play

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Every afternoon, we gather as a group to talk about the day's events as well as any special events planned for the following day. Other activities could include a read-aloud or a song.

It's time to go outside! They might play on their own or participate in a group activity.

  • Activity Centers & Pick-up

5:00 PM - CLOSE

It's time for pick-up! After a busy day together, children are given the space and time to explore and play in the learning centers independently.
