Overview

This program is set up for young toddlers as they start to get more curious about their surroundings and about learning how to become more independent and secure. During this stage they begin walking, talking, using cups, feeding themselves, etc. Activities are designed to help each child use their new abilities to explore their world and find new ways to communicate with others.

Teachers establish fun activities to help promote a positive desire and urge to learn. New subjects are introduced: Shapes, Colors, and Object Recognition.

Teachers will encourage the children to start doing things on their own; including washing their hands, dressing themselves, taking things out and cleaning up after themselves.

Success in this stage helps to continue building on their confidence in themselves and others.

Our curriculum is based on engaging our students to learn through discovery. Children learn individually and with others through play. We offer our children a play-based educational curriculum, which supports all aspects of their learning and development. It supports their natural curiosity and desire to make sense of the world around them and helps them discover that learning is interesting and fun.

Our programs and curriculum are designed to provide children from diverse cultural backgrounds with unique interactions, opportunities and experiences that will help them reach their full potential in six developmental domains: Physical, Cognitive, Language, Creative, Emotional, and Social.

The students at Rise and Shine Daycare Center experience daily physical activity programs to ensure a healthy progression of physical growth. The children learn through senses, curiosity, imitation, conversations, and imagination. Activities include art, music, books, cooking, nature, blocks, puzzles, story time and Spanish as a second language. The goal of this program is to provide a well-rounded curriculum that aids children in all areas of development.

Tuition is due the 1st day each month and is auto drafted through Brightwheel. Parents have the option to pay the flat monthly fee or pay tuition based on the amount of weeks in each month. Tuition may be paid only via an ACH payment (Payment can be set up electronically).

Tuition Rates for Toddlers II:

• Tuition per Week: $390
• Flat Monthly Tuition: $1690
• 3 Day Part-time per Week: $282
• 2 Day Part-Time per Week: $188
• Application Fee (one time): $75 (non-refundable)
• Yearly Registration Fee: $125 (non-refundable)
• Yearly Materials Fee: $200

To enroll, a full enrollment application needs to be submitted and a deposit of $250 is required. The deposit is applied towards the first month's tuition and is refundable if Rise and Shine is given a 30 day notice before scheduled date of enrollment. The materials fee covers some of the cost of classroom materials including art supplies, workshops and subscriptions. This is a yearly fee.
