They say Rome wasn't built in a day so luckily we'll have an entire week to study the artistic and historical context of this ancient culture. Working in clay, we'll be both recreate some of Rome's great works of architecture - we'll build the Colosseum and ancient temples, and learn about different types of columns Romans used. Your child can be the ruler of Rome as we make coins with their own portraits. We'll create an array of jewelry and armor. Children become artists, archaeologists, and gladiators alike while spending a week with this incredible civilization. *AGES 5-10*
