This spring, explore the mysteries of outer space, building stories from astronauts and astronomers and ourselves. Each week, we'll gain new storytelling skills, build original characters, and create movement that includes spacewalks, rocket launches and interstellar travel. Students will work with professional artists bringing ideas from Filament's next season into the theater as we all start to think about the parallels of life on and off planet earth. By the end of class, we'll be ready to share an original performance with family and friends faster than you can say 3-2-1-Blast-Off! Throughout the class professional artists working on these Filament premieres will stop by to share bits of the stories they are working on, and by the end of class we'll be ready to share our own stories and characters with all the family and friends we can find!
