Overview
If your child is interested in working out, our youth fitness orientations are a great starting point. Our knowledgeable staff will introduce them to the gym equipment and teach them how to use it safely. It's a fantastic way to build a lifelong love for fitness.

Program Details
- This program teaches children, ages 10-13, the proper use of fitness equipment and the walking track. This is required before use of the fitness center.
- For kids 12 and 13 years old, a 45-minute appointment (Strong Teens) is required before use of the wellness center. This appointment includes an overview of cardio and strength machines, and kids will receive a basic program. Free weights are not allowed.
- Teens, ages 10-13, must complete an orientation prior to using equipment in the wellness center.
- Ages 12 to 13: May use strength machines after Strong Teens Orientation.
- Ages 10 to 11: May use cardio equipment after Active Teens Orientation.
- Youth, ages 9 and younger are only allowed access to the walking track and must be accompanied by an adult.
Wellness Center Guidelines
- Clean, close-toed shoes are required. No outside shoes permitted.
- Tank tops and shirts should cover the chest and midriff.
- Shorts should be mid-thigh in length.
